Here we are together during a perpetual work-in-progress. This one, at P.S.1 in Queens, was entitled Angry, Articulate, Inevitable (2010). The title is from a book of coming-out stories from the 1980s that Catherine Lord mentioned in a lecture about anger at the feminist lecture forum "Nobody Puts Baby in A Corner" run by Malin Arnell and Johanna Gustavsson. This installation interconnects boundaries of, and limitations beyond, all the sensory input I could collect/collage from those that I know, some that I don't. Pal and confidant Eileen Myles said of it, "The present is popcorn in the hot social lens of this manifesto piggy bank." Thanks to every last one of you.
