Halfway through installing this work I realized that the whole piece should be tilted slightly. The sculpture should disorient and reorient the viewer as he or she moves through it. So I took it apart, and reinstalled it again, but the second time around with every object at a slight angle. When Jason asked me to lie on the concrete floor after a long day of installing I was happy to be still, but I had no idea what he was seeing through the lens. At first I didn't see the figure, but once I found it, all lines seem only to lead there.
