The inanimate one is What Is My Name, my new sculpture. Around us: Gelitin—the best artists in the world—and more friends and friends of friends again: Gunther, Sara, Christof, Gabriel, Luce, Skyler, Monty, Francesco, Patrizio, and more. The show was epic. It was initiated by Franz West inviting his friends who invited more friends. Each of us showed what we wished, and the atmosphere was super-great. The title of the show was Hamsterwheel, and it happened across the water from the Biennale. I did this bear because I live in bear country, Alaska. This is one hundred-percent fake.
