Jason asked to photograph me in my music studio as a way of showing how I view what I do or as a reflection of my work. I guess when I thought of how I wanted this portrait to be seen, I immediately wanted a gun. My idea was to attach the photo to the gun and make a sort of comic sculpture. Instead I ended up making a feminist statement of how men controlling women is not my scene. This is, of course, coming from a woman who convinced her bandmates to buy copies of the latest issue of Playboy so she could look at the girls....
