Lisa Yuskavage

I wanted to pose with tourists in front of Caravaggio's The Madonna dei Pellegrini (the Madonna receiving pilgrims) at the Church of Sant'Agostino. I was living in Rome, and this was my favorite painting there. I guess being there, I was an art pilgrim. For maximum effect, I wish my feet had been really dirty.
