Sheep Station is a tribute to my late husband, François-Xavier Lalanne, who began making his iconic Mouton sculptures in the '60s. Set in a surrealist landscape amidst the industrial gas station structure, the sheep symbolize his mission to demystify art and capture its joie de vivre. This whimsical installation brings the French countryside to the center of Manhattan. Truly surreal. He would have been wonderfully delighted.
