Carol Bove

Our babysitter was out sick on the day of this photo shoot, so my daughter, Thea, came along with us down to the waterfront where I find driftwood. I usually go to this spot every day to check on the situation and see if anything good has washed up. I can never decide if I'm stealing or performing a public service when I take driftwood to the studio. I was taught to "take only pictures and leave no footprints" but the terms of an urban beach (if you can call it that) are different.
