Barrão


My sculptures are made from commonplace objects related to consumer culture such as electrical appliances and toys, which I use as raw materials. My recent work involves gluing pieces of shattered decorative china into objects that show visible seams filled with epoxy. Some of the things I have been working with lately are: ceramic elephants, dogs, skulls, tea pots, cups, nymphs, parrots and the like.
